LOW PROFILE CONVENIENCE
The Cardinal USA made LPRA low profile railroad scales feature a rugged weighbridge with either electronic or hydraulic load cell mounting assemblies. The low profile design eliminates the expense and maintenance of a deep pit. Removing the need for excavation of a deep pit and additional concrete work means construction costs are lower and installation time is shorter. Cardinal’s LPRA series can weigh a wide range of rail car sizes. Twenty five foot approaches are required on each end of the scale, along with an intermediate section between the two platforms.
- Gross capacity – 100 to 270 ton
- Module sizes – 13 feet and 26 feet available
- Designed for 115 lb rail (132 lb optional)
- Stainless steel load cells
- Accuracy in accordance with NIST, AAR and AREMA requirements
