Based on the DPP series, the LG series features a larger 2.25 inch dial for improved resolution and readability, peak hold button, and improved accuracy. The LG series in mounitng compatible with the DPP. Anything the DPP would mount to the LG can mount to as well. The LG series has a real peak capture switch. No more red pointer that drags along and stops at the peak ( DPP ) The gauge also comes standard with a NIST traceable calibration certificate. You don’t get that with Imada or Shimpo gauges. Finally, the LG series comes with the same accessories that were supplied with the DPP series.
