New from A&D Weighing’s Intrinsically Safe Compact Balances, meet the new A&D EK-AEP series. These intrinsically safe balances are Factory Mutual-approved for the US and Canada. They’re compact, lightweight, and extremely affordable, all while providing excellent explosion protection.
These units operate using four AA batteries for up to 200 hours. An external power supply in a safe area is not required. Auto Power off functions save battery power.
The A&D EK series is also equipped with an optical connector, which can output weighing results to a device in distant, safe areas via an optical fiber cable and an optical communications adapter.
